Saint Theophan the Recluse

death, cremation, burial

Our body is sacred, sanctified and smelly with the Mystery of Anointing and must be buried, go where it came from according to the teaching of our Church. It was the residence of the Angelic Soul. Let's not forget it.
In Thessaloniki First Letter the Apostle urges chap 5,23 = ′′ And may your entire existence be preserved -- your spirit, soul and body ----, unconventional during the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you keeps His word and will do it."
Philippe. 3,21 = ′′ Let the body of our humiliation transforms into this generation, conform the body of his glory in his energy, and subdue all things."
and let's not forget that our body has been consecrated by baptism and we can't throw it in the..... trash!

Animals are innocent

Animals are innocent and serve God better and more purely than we do. Many Saints had grace from the Holy Spirit and were granted the gift of communicating with the animals as we were meant to in paradise before the fall of mankind. We all also should learn by watching and caring for God's creatures how to serve Him better.

Elder Ephraim Of Arizona

When we obey God, He gives us all that He has.
God is Light, and he gives us light.
God is Paradise, and He gives us paradise. God is forgiveness, and He gives us forgiveness.
God is Life, and He gives us life.
God is eternal bliss, and He grants us eternal bliss—completely free.
Why should we fail to acquire all these good things? Why make ourselves miserable?
Nothing other than a little enlightenment and a small amount of effort to change our way of life is required to enter the highway that ends at the Golden Gate of the Heavenly Kingdom. The Kingdom of Heaven is the heart of Christ. If our soul acquires the characteristics of the Heavenly Father, then as a child of God, it will freely enter into the heart of God, into a vast, endless, and inexpressible blessedness.
Elder Ephraim of Arizona

forgive

God forgives and I forgive,
I remember you in prayer.
Charity and love manifest,
and forgive me for everything.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

“If I were called upon to identify briefly the principal trait of the entire twentieth century, here too, I would be unable to find anything more precise and pithy than to repeat once again: Men have forgotten God.”
